Social Currents is an incubator for ideas of a certain sort.  We hope to "creamsource" critical and creative minds to help refine somewhat outlandish schemes for improving the world just a bit.  While there might be a case for associating our aims with the burgeoning field of social entrepreneurship, the conceptual baggage that comes along with that moniker would likely end up limiting our horizons.  If you have a pet project that is about more than technological innovation, market niches, or legal loopholes, this could be the place to let it run free and see if it comes back stronger.  To keep things as meta as possible, the proposal materials below can be referenced to this very website, which may or may not yet live up to their promise.
